Esther Wilkins, RDH, DMD
Clinical Professor, Department of Periodontology,
Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine, is the author of the
textbook Clinical Practice of the Dental Hygienist, now in its ninth
edition. Dr. Wilkins has received the Warner Lambert/ ADHA Award
for Excellence in Dental Hygiene (Education), the Forsyth Distinguished
Alumnus Award, and Honorary Life Membership in the International
Federation of Dental Hygienists. She is an internationally recognized
lecturer in dental hygiene.
Anna Pattison, RDH, MS
Associate Professor and Former Chair, Department of Dental Hygiene,
USC School of Dentistry; co-author of Periodontal Instrumentation:
AClinical Manual; she has also contributed to Periodontology; and
is an internationally recognized speaker on Advanced Periodontal
