communicable diseases: the new terminology.
2. Dental Biofilms and the microbiology of dental
caries and periodontal diseases.

eyes & dull probes); demineralization: what happens on the
enamel surface? The root surface?
4. Caries management using risk assessment.
5. Protocols for Remineralization; the role of saliva,
chlorhexidine, xylitol, fluorides (especially varnish):
the new world of evidence-based information?

Periodontal debridement or root planing - what are the latest
concepts on calculus removal?
|
|
|
7. New technologies - the dental endoscope, calculus detection
probes, lasers and future developments.
8. New instruments for advanced periodontal instrumentation-
mini-bladed curets, furcation curets, diamond coated files, new
Piezo and magnetostrictive tips.
9. Videotapes comparing hand and ultrasonic instrumentation.

new positions and fulcrums for optimum access and adaptation to
root morphology. |
