Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

Describe the use of new fluoride and ACP products.
Analyze the differences between current and new local delivery antibiotic/antimicrobial delivery systems.

Anna Pattison, RDH, MS, Associate Professor and Former Chair, Department of Dental Hygiene, USC School of Dentistry; co-author of Periodontal Instrumentation: A Clinical Manual; she has also contributed to Glickman's and Carranza's Clinical Periodontology; and is an internationally recognized speaker on Advanced Periodontal Instrumentation. In 2005, she received the Pfizer-ADHA Excellence in Dental Hygiene Award, the Columbia Schoolof Dental and Oral Surgery Alumni Award and the USC School of Dentistry Alumnus of tye Year Award. In 2006 she received the California Society of Periodontists Award.
