These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the International Dental Seminars, Inc. website, online learning platform, and educational programs. By accessing the website or enrolling in any IDS, Inc. program, you accept these terms in full.
- WHO WE ARE
International Dental Seminars, Inc. ("IDS, Inc.") is a continuing education provider for dental professionals. IDS, Inc. is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider and an Accepted National Program Provider for FAGD/MAGD Credit (Sponsor ID #210595). Our programs are designed for licensed dentists, dental specialists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and office staff. Use of this website by individuals outside the dental profession is permitted but IDS, Inc. content is developed for a professional dental audience.
- ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years of age to register for an IDS, Inc. account or enroll in any IDS, Inc. program. By using this website, you represent that you meet this requirement. IDS, Inc. does not knowingly collect information from anyone under age 13.
- COURSE ENROLLMENT AND ACCESS
(a) Live Events and Seminars
Registration for a live IDS, Inc. seminar or workshop confirms your seat in that specific program on the stated date(s) and location. Registration is personal to you and may not be transferred to another individual without IDS, Inc.'s prior written approval. Seat availability is not guaranteed until registration and payment are complete.
(b) Online Courses
Upon purchase, online course access will be granted to your registered account. Course access periods, where applicable, will be stated on the course registration page. IDS, Inc. reserves the right to update, modify, or retire online course content at any time.
(c) CE Certificates
Certificates of CE completion are issued only to the registered participant. For live events, attendance verification is required. For online courses, completion of all required modules and any post-course assessment is required. CE certificates may not be altered in any way.
- CONDUCT AT LIVE EVENTS
Attendees at IDS, Inc. live seminars and workshops are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward speakers, staff, and fellow attendees. IDS, Inc. reserves the right to remove any attendee from a program, without refund, for disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior.
Audio or video recording of IDS, Inc. presentations, in whole or in part, without the express prior written consent of IDS, Inc. is strictly prohibited. Course handouts and materials are provided for the personal professional use of the registered attendee only and may not be reproduced or distributed.
- SPEAKER AND CONTENT DISCLOSURES
IDS, Inc. discloses any relevant financial relationships between course speakers/authors and commercial interests in accordance with ADA CERP standards. Disclosure information is provided in program materials. IDS, Inc. is committed to providing balanced, evidence-based educational content.
- ONLINE PLATFORM RULES
The IDS, Inc. online platform may include discussion forums, Q&A features, or other interactive areas. When participating in any interactive feature, you agree to:
- Post only content that is accurate, professional, and relevant to dental education;
- Respect the privacy of patients — do not post identifiable patient information;
- Not post promotional, advertising, or spam content;
- Not post content that is defamatory, harassing, or offensive.
IDS, Inc. reserves the right to remove any posted content at its discretion and without notice.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All IDS, Inc. course materials, including but not limited to slide presentations, handouts, videos, articles, and website content, are protected by copyright and are the property of International Dental Seminars, Inc. or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of any IDS, Inc. content is prohibited and may constitute infringement.
The IDS, Inc. name, logo, and any course-specific branding are trademarks of International Dental Seminars, Inc. You may not use IDS, Inc. trademarks without prior written permission.
- DISCLAIMER OF CLINICAL ADVICE
IDS, Inc. programs are educational in nature. Nothing in any IDS, Inc. course, seminar, online program, or website content constitutes clinical advice for any specific patient. Dental professionals are solely responsible for all clinical decisions made in their practice. IDS, Inc. makes no representation that any technique, material, or approach discussed in its programs is appropriate for any particular patient or clinical situation.
- TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Access to IDS, Inc. online content requires a compatible device and current web browser. IDS, Inc. does not guarantee compatibility with all devices or browsers. IDS, Inc. is not responsible for interruptions to online access caused by internet connectivity issues, device limitations, or factors outside IDS, Inc.'s control.
- MODIFICATION OF PROGRAMS
IDS, Inc. reserves the right to modify the date, location, format, speaker lineup, or content of any program. In the event of a material change to a live event (such as cancellation or significant date change), registered attendees will be notified and options will be communicated at that time.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
IDS, INC.'S LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE, ATTENDANCE AT AN EVENT, OR PARTICIPATION IN AN ONLINE PROGRAM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SPECIFIC PROGRAM IN QUESTION. IDS, INC. IS NOT LIABLE FOR TRAVEL, LODGING, OR OTHER COSTS INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH ANY PROGRAM REGARDLESS OF CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION.
- GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
